 International House Gala at the Hilton Hotel in Charlotte, NC features Second Nature in the grand ballroom from 8 to midnight. This black-tie dinner & dance is a fun celebration of music, food, costumes, and dances from the multi-national population in the Queen City of Charlotte and will be sold out, so get your tickets early!

 The Persians band reunion at Doc's Gumbo Grill on Main Street in Columbia, SC will feature many of the players and singers who performed with this great R&B group that began in 1965 and lasted into the 1990's. Three members, Tommie James, Tom Graham, and Charles Stafford from The Persians of 1967 - 68 became original members of Second Nature in 1971. Come join the fun beginning at 3PM.

"Accessibility 2009: Cross Currents" is Sumter, SC's eleventh annual exhibition of public installation art, and exhibitions will feature contemporary art that is installed in and around Main Street businesses, alleys, unoccupied buildings, sidewalks and other "public" area of Sumter's historic downtown area.

Opening night on Friday will include music and entertainment with Second Nature playing "the best in Beach Music" on a Main Street stage. There will also be a classic car show on main street courtesy of Sumter Cruisers. The band plays from 6 to 9PM, and its FREE, so bring the whole family and wear your dancing shoes!

The Southeastern Wildlife Exposition “exhibitor’s party” at The Visitor’s Center on Meeting St. in Charleston, SC. Many exhibitors receive an admission badge to this event, and a very limited number of additional tickets will be available. A great variety of food featuring all types of wildlife from both land and water will be available, and Second Nature plays dance music from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m.

The 35th annual Rites of Spring dance at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, SC will feature Second Nature from 8PM to midnight. This event started in 1976, and Second Nature has played for every one since, and it's always fun. You must be invited by one of the sponsors to attend this event.

The bi-annual "Pegasus Ball" kicks off the festivities for the biggest event of the year in Camden, SC, "The Carolina Cup" Steeplechase horse race. Proceeds from The Pegasus Ball benefit the Kershaw County Hospital Foundation and is held at one of the historical properties Camden is famous for. The location will be announced in January 2010 and will feature a fun theme, a silent auction, great food, and Second Nature will play great music for dancing from 8PM to midnight. Tickets are limited, and this event will be sold out, so make plans early to include The Pegasus Ball in your 2010 spring "Cup" activities.

The Friends of Brookgreen Gardens annual gala will be held on the grounds of one of the most beautiful gardens in the USA, and Second Nature will play for dinner and dancing from 8PM to midnight. This Formal event features silent and live auctions, great food, and is the premier benefit gala in all of SC. Brookgreen Gardens is on highway 17 south of Myrtle Beach, and north of Georgetown near Pawleys Island. Make your reservations early because the tickets are limited, and it will be sold out!

The annual Lower Richland Spring Party will be held at the Cantey Building on the SC State Fairgrounds beginning at 5PM with recorded music, line dance lessons, and a buffet dinner at 6PM. Second Nature plays for dancing from 7 to 11PM and a large crowd is expected.... over 1100 people attended the 2009 event. If you are a current or former resident of the Lower Richland community and did not receive an invitation, you must contact one of the committee members and purchase tickets in advance.
